UNGC Ten Principles

Asterism is committed to adopt and deploy The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its company strategy and operations by sustaining awareness, responsibility and accountability among all its relevant stakeholders and interested parties within the context of its business, among the others employees, clients and suppliers. 
Human Rights
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human
rights; and
Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Labour
Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right
to collective bargaining;
Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and
Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Environment
Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Anti-Corruption
Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery

suppliers. Above practices are aligned with the European Union Environment policies. general
principles and basic framework.

Safety and Health at Work

Asterism is committed to adopt and deploy The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work directives into its company strategy and operations by sustaining awareness, responsibility and accountability among all its relevant stakeholders and interested parties within the context of its business, among the others employees, clients and suppliers. 

- Establish a ‘working environment’ taking into account technical safety as well as general prevention of ill-health. 
- Equal level of safety and health for the benefit of all workers. 
- Commit employers to take appropriate preventive measures to make work safer and healthier. 
- Periodic risk assessment (e.g. hazard identification, worker participation, introduction of adequate measures with the priority of eliminating risk at source, documentation and periodical re-assessment of workplace hazards).
